Take -Two Interactive, the publishing studio behind Obsidian Entertainment’s riveting RPG The Outer Worlds, announced the game shifted three million units.
Take-Two says that the recent sales increase is due to the game’s downloadable content pack the Murder on Eridanos. The DLC isn’t available just yet on Nintendo Switch.
Take-Two Interactive:
The Outer Worlds has reached 3 million units sold-in to date.
That's up from 2.5 million as of this time last year, a recent bump driven by the launch of Murder on Eridanos DLC.

About The Outer Worlds
Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later than you expected only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony.
As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter a host of factions all vying for power, who you decide to become will determine the fate of everyone in Halcyon.
In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.
The Outer Worlds is available on Xbox Game Pass, as Obsidian Entertainment is now part of Xbox Game Studios, and available right now on other platforms including the Nintendo Switch.
