The Pillars of the Earth will soon be available for the Nintendo Switch, according to an announcement made by Daedalic Entertainment. The release of the game is slated for the first of March in 2023.

The Pillars of the Earth is a graphic novel based on Ken Follet’s real book. It has hand-painted scenery, well-developed characters, and narrative branching that allows players to shape the course of the tale.

The narrative of the town of Kingsbridge is retold in an entirely new and interactive form in “The Pillars of the Earth,” which is based on the best-selling novel written by Ken Follett. Explore the world as Jack, Aliena, and Philip and influence what happens in the novel via your exploration, choices, and conversations with other characters.

In the 12th century in England, at a period of severe poverty and conflict, a little town starts the building of a cathedral in the hopes of providing money and safety for its inhabitants. As a result of their shared effort to stay alive, their lives and their destiny become intertwined. The local monk, Philip, is promoted to the role of prior at the Kingsbridge Abbey. Around the same time period, a little kid named Jack is brought up by his criminal mother in the wilderness. His training as a stonemason throughout his apprenticeship has prepared him to become a skilled master builder. Along with the disgraced noblewoman Aliena, Jack and Philip begin the building of one of the grandest churches England would ever witness.
