Thunderful and The SteamWorld Telegraph: Special Broadcast

In an upcoming broadcast, Thunderful will provide information on the SteamWorld series. The following footage that may be seen below has been uploaded on YouTube and shared around social media. The message is just a few seconds long and is written in Morse code, but it suggests that something significant would take place on January 18th.

It’s possible that Thunderful has some information to share with you about SteamWorld Headhunter, the next game in the series. That video game was shown to the public for the first time in November 2021, but we haven’t seen it since then. There are a few elements that have been proven, despite the fact that very little is known at this time. Officially, the game has been dubbed “a stylish and colorful, third-person co-op action adventure with a head-popping twist,” and it is said to follow the events of SteamWorld Dig 2 in a manner that is unbroken. Despite the fact that it will be in 3D, it will have “the aesthetic and charm” that the series is famous for.

There has been a release of each SteamWorld game on a Nintendo platform, and it is probable that Headhunter will follow in that tradition as well. The Switch version of SteamWorld Dig includes both the first and second installments, as well as SteamWorld Heist and SteamWorld Quest. The only one that is lacking is SteamWorld Tower Defense, which has only been available on DSiWare up until this point.

The SteamWorld Telegraph: Special Broadcast, which was announced on the 18th and would address what’s next for the series, is now available for viewing. On January 23, it will begin at 9:30 AM in the Pacific Time Zone, 12:30 PM in the Eastern Time Zone, 5:30 PM in the United Kingdom, and 6:30 PM in Europe.
