After the release of Wolfstride on Nintendo Switch we now have 14 minutes of footage, which showcases the RPG.
Wolfstride is a role-playing game about three former criminal associates who are at a crossroads in their life. When they acquire a junkyard mecha named Cowboy, they band together to compete in the Ultimate Golden God Tournament, the planet’s most elite mecha tournament.
About Wolfstride
As you prepare to outsmart the finest mecha opponents from across the globe, each member of the squad contributes their unique expertise. The core crew is well-rounded, including dog-mechanic Duque, mecha pilot Knife Leopard, and jack-of-all-trades Dominic Shade.
That is, until their basic quest to generate money turns into a profound, slow-burning investigation of their complicated lives, their terrible decisions in the past, and their destiny.
THE GARAGE
Duque’s domain is the hangar. Repairing damage between bouts is just the start. To enhance Cowboy and perfect the unique loadout planned to defeat your next opponent, swap out components, install upgrades, and add new weaponry.
THE CITY OF RAIN
Take on the role of Dominic Shade, an exiled former Yakuza, and explore every odd nook of Rain City. A half-dozen venues reveal a kaleidoscope of people, each of whom offers assistance, a job, or a scathing insult to your adventure.
THE STAGE
Enter the arena to compete against enormous robots one on one. The turn-based fighting system encourages planning and tactics. Move cautiously to position yourself for an assault while keeping the adversary off-balance. When the conflict becomes too heated, use targeted strikes to wear out your opponent or go on the defensive.
