WrestleQuest – Combat trailer

Skybound Games and Mega Cat Studios released a second trailer for WrestleQuest. This time, the focus is on combat.

Most of the battles in the game happen in turns, but players can press buttons at the right time to change how likely an attack is to work. After their opponent has taken enough damage, they will have to press some buttons in time with a moving meter a few times in a row to win the match.

About WrestleQuest

In WrestleQuest, players take on the role of a young wrestling hopeful who wants to become one of the all-time greats by powerbombing, slamming, and suplexing his way to the top. Inspired by legends like “Macho Man” Randy Savage, our hero must dive into the world of professional wrestling, which will test not only his physical skills but also his will and conscience.

Throughout the game, players will experience classic turn-based RPG combat that mixes real-time action with tactical choices. They will also wrestle through a richly detailed and fantastic storyline, starting as a newcomer and working their way up to become the sport’s biggest star with the help of legendary wrestlers from the past and present. The combination of wrestling, toys, and action figures is perfectly shown by the pixel-art graphics and overall style of the game.

As players move through their quest, they will meet and talk to many legends, such as “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Booker T, Andre the Giant, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Diamond Dallas Page, Jeff Jarrett, and many more. This is the main event you won’t want to miss. There are a lot of side missions, bonus content, and other things to do.

WrestleQuest is being made for the Nintendo Switch, but there is no release date yet.
