In a new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct video presentation, Nintendo revealed over 25 minutes of new footage from the next game, including huge adversaries, interesting characters, and vast settings. The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 game will be released for the Nintendo Switch family of platforms on July 29, but you can get a sneak peek at the events that will set Noah, Mio, and their other warriors on an epic adventure of destiny!
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 combines the futures of the two previous mainstream Xenoblade Chronicles games as the next addition in the highly acclaimed role-playing series. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 may also be used as an entrance point for anybody interested in immersing themselves in a massive RPG world with dynamic characters, a complex story, and epic grandeur!
In Aionios, the planet of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, two warring countries, Keves and Agnus, wage daily battles with their lives on the line. Six troops from each of these warring countries have been assigned to a particular assignment. Can these individuals, who were formerly filled with mutual animosity, find a way to live together? In this enthralling novel, you’ll travel with these fate-defying dreamers to uncover the secrets of their world – a place where every combat win and loss is another opportunity to alter the course of history and triumph against an uncertain destiny. Here are just a handful of the features and activities available on your quest:
Explore a Vast World
Aionios has amazing natural magnificence that contrasts with the bleak strife between the two countries. The areas you visit while wandering Aionios are recorded as landmarks that you may simply pick and go to, making this vast world more manageable. Enabling a navigation option allows you to roam freely or follow a path to your next location. As you explore, you’ll come across a variety of bizarre monuments and fauna. The lifeforms here, like the regions they inhabit, vary from gentle to deadly. Some monsters, such as the infamous Demonic Krenolur, make no secret of their violent nature, so proceed with care!
Learn the Arts of Battle:
When you’re ready to battle, you may use strong powers known as Arts to help you win. Some Arts may throw opponents off balance, while others inflict extra damage depending on where you hit from, and yet others can heal friends! To wreak havoc on your adversaries, you may combine different Arts with dazzling Chain Attacks. As you gain combat experience, you’ll be able to study strong Master Arts and Fusion Arts for even more lethal assaults.
Colonies provide rest and quests:
While exploring Aionios, you’ll be able to climb cliffs, mount sandy slopes, zipline over ropes, and sail the seas. While the stakes are great, you may explore the planet at your own speed, visiting colonies to shop, dine, meet locals, and embark on missions. At these colonies and rest stops, you may get a look into Noah’s and his pals’ life. To improve your powers, use the ingredients you obtain to cook or make gems. It’s wonderful to decompress and relax before taking in the next breathtaking vista or dispatching your next bizarre adversary.
Character Classes for Mastery
Each member of your party has a Class that affects how they combat. The Swordfighter is a well-balanced attacker who leads the battle, but there are many more classes that specialize in healing, defense, and devastating attacks, among other things. In combat, you may easily switch between characters, and your Class can be modified to match that of your friends. Spend time studying several classes to ensure your team is well-rounded!
Bring Heroes into Your Party:
Your party will consist of six major characters in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, but courageous people of Aionios known as Heroes may join your squad as a seventh party member. Only one Hero may help on the battlefield at a time, but you can change them out as needed. They also add their own unique Classes to your squad, such as Guardian Commander, Incursor, and War Medic. As your friends, your party members may even take on any of the Hero Classes. By recruiting additional Heroes, you will increase the number of Classes and Arts in your party, broadening your strategic possibilities!
Fuse Into Ouroboros:
Two characters in your party may fuse into a ferociously strong form known as an Ouroboros by coming together in combat through Interlinking. Earn combat points to strengthen the already-mighty Ouroboros. Ouroboros may also join the rest of the group in Chain Attacks. Clear the battlefield with the powerful Ouroboros Arts!
Content of the Expansion Pass:
With a bought expansion pass, you may expand the universe of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Additional material will be published in four waves* from the game’s debut to the end of 2023, enhancing your trip through Aionios. Helpful goods, new clothes and color variations, challenging bouts, new missions, new Hero characters, and even a new plot scenario will be included in the material! The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass will be available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99 later today.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 supports amiibo accessories. Tap any compatible amiibo to get useful in-game goodies during your journey. When utilizing the Swordfighter class, tap the Shulk amiibo to transform a character’s sword into the Monado, the famous weapon from the original Xenoblade Chronicles game.
