Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – version 1.1.1 patch notes

A new 1.1.1 update for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 came out, and it fixes a lot of the bugs and glitches that have been found in the game in the last few weeks.

Notably, it gets rid of a softlock that could happen if you beat a certain enemy early, fixes the cooking system so that it works again, and makes it possible to get items that you couldn’t get before.

Version 1.1.1 patch notes

  • Changed how Perilwing Ryuho acts and made it impossible to beat if the player is in an area that the main scenario isn’t supposed to lead them to.
  • Shadow of Enmity, Teach’s Ascension quest, had a bug where the first battle didn’t always end.
  • In the “Severed Connection” quest, the battle with the “Mysterious Raider” sometimes didn’t end. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed a problem where some Collectopedia Cards couldn’t get the “Gogol Vuaga” and “Gogol Dalm” items that were asked for.
  • Fixed a bug that caused different effects to not work right for dishes other than “Baked Spongy Spud” and “Sunny-Style Fish Pie.”
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes made the Talent Arts button disappear and stop working during certain steps. If this problem has already happened, loading the saved data after updating the software will fix it.
  • When Language Settings was set to German, the word “Verkaufen” in the store menu was covering up the text next to it. This has been fixed.
  • Several other problems have also been fixed, making the game more fun to play.

The new 1.1.1 update for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 can now be downloaded by anyone with a Nintendo Switch.

About Xenoblade Chronicles 3

This game combines the futures of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It takes place on the world of Aionios, which is home to two countries that are at odds with each other.

Keves is the name of a country where mechanical technology was created. Their armies are mostly made up of units that are fighting vehicles. They use small, moving units of weapons that are controlled by soldiers riding on them.

Agnus is a country with a lot of ether, which is a magical technology. Their army is made up of units that are good at fighting in the ether, and they fight with small, mobile, self-operating weapons that use ether technology.

Six soldiers from these countries will take part in a grand story whose main theme is life.
