More information about the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC was one of the important things that were confirmed in the recent Nintendo Direct. Wave 2 will start on October 13, and a third wave will start soon after. Nintendo says that the second wave of the Expansion Pass for the game will include a brand-new Hero and some Challenge Battles. In the third wave, a new Hero named Ino and some new Challenge Battle Rules will be added.

- Challenge Battles are where you fight tough enemies over and over again to earn rewards.
- New Hero character: Ino. When you finish her quest, you can add her to your party and gain access to a new class.

About Xenoblade Chronicles 3

This game combines the futures of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It takes place on the world of Aionios, which is home to two countries that are at odds with each other.
Keves is the name of a country where mechanical technology was created. Their armies are mostly made up of units that are fighting vehicles. They use small, moving units of weapons that are controlled by soldiers riding on them.
Agnus is a country with a lot of ether, which is a magical technology. Their army is made up of units that are good at fighting in the ether, and they fight with small, mobile, self-operating weapons that use ether technology.
Six soldiers from these countries will take part in a grand story whose main theme is life.
