Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch will be released in HD graphics and will be compatible with the Yo-kai Art and DX Yo-Seiken toys. The trailer has also shown the yo-kai “Ikakamone Chairman” which will be available as pre-order bonus.

Yo-kai wander around our world, invisible to most. Usually, they have no bad intentions, but they have a mind of their own paired with a unique talent! When something goes wrong in our everyday life, it’s often because of a Yo-kai in a mischievous mood…
With the power of the Yo-kai Watch, though, you can find these hidden Yo-kai, befriend them, and call upon their powers when you need their help. There are over 200 different types of Yo-kai, each with their own unique personality, just waiting to be discovered!
FIND THEM AND BEFRIEND THEM!
If you are lucky enough to befriend Yo-kai, they will give you their medal as a show of friendship, which you can collect in your Medallium. You can keep six of these medals in your Yo-kai Watch at a time to call upon these Yo-kai in battle, so choose wisely!
IT TAKES ALL TYPES
There are over 200 types of Yo-kai, each belonging to one of eight different Yo-kai tribes. If they are side-by-side in battle with members of the same tribe, it will increase their abilities.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
The more your Yo-kai friends battle, the quicker they will level up and become more powerful. Luckily, there are tons of wild Yo-kai roaming your town to practise battling with.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
They say two heads are better than one, but what about two Yo-kai?
Yo-kai Fusion is an ancient technique that combines certain Yo-kai together to make a new, more powerful combo. You can even fuse some Yo-kai with items you might find around town! Experiment with different combinations and see what you can come up with.
LEGENDS
Known only as Legends, they are the most powerful Yo-kai and the hardest to defeat. If you collect all the medals for a Legend page of the Yo-kai Medallium, though, a Legend Yo-kai will befriend you!
Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch will launch for the hybrid console on 10th October 2019 in Japan.
