Due to high fan demand, Playtonic Games promised that the Yooka 64 model from Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be coming to the original game!
You asked us to add a Yooka 64 model into Yooka-Laylee (the original) to compliment the 64-bit Tonic, so we're happy to announce we are working on that, and getting the Tonic on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 finally too! pic.twitter.com/LHSFvLoUoO

It will be available to the Nintendo Switch version as part of the 64-bit Tonic previously released for the original. If the 64-bit filter in the first outing didn’t particularly satisfy your nostalgic needs, the Yooka 64 character model (see above) should make the graphical overhaul (or underhaul?) just a little more convincing.
