Zelda BOTW DLC Champions’ Ballad still coming this year?

Although we have not heard about the second DLC Pack for Zelda – Breath Of The Wild, titled The Champions’ Ballad, in quite some time it still seems to be schedulded for release before this year is over.

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma recently confirmed that in a video. In the video, he indicates that the team is currently working hard and asks everyone to have just a little bit more patience.

But when?

Previously, the president of Nintendo America (NOA) said more or less the same thing and announced that a release date would be announced soon. Actually, The Champions’ Ballad was scheduled for release this summer.

Does it mean that more content is being added or that it simply took more time to accomplish what they where aiming for? We are sorry to say that that are not questions that we can give a clear answer to at this time.

Despite the delay that the Champions’ Ballad seems to have experienced, the 4 champions amiibo are still scheduled for a release on November 10th.

Well, the characters themselves are of course ready and the underlying functionality can be added even if they are already available, it’s just a little remarkable that they don’t align with the release.
