Wii U And 3DS eShops – LEGO City: Undercover titles removed

Enthusiasts discovered numerous DSiWare games got deactivated on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. But it looks like fans actually lost two more games at the end of 2020.

According to an official notice on Nintendo’s website, LEGO City: Undercover was removed from the Wii U eShop, while LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins was removed from the 3DS eShop.  And thus both games are no longer available for purchase.

As of December 22, 2020, the LEGO City: Undercover game for the Wii U system and the LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins game for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems will no longer be available for purchase on Nintendo eShop.

LEGO City: Undercover for the Nintendo Switch system will continue to be available.

Fortunately, LEGO City: Undercover is still available physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch. As for LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins on 3DS, you’ll just have to dig around for a physical copy if you really want to experience it.
