Aspyr – Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II – Game Breaking Bug workaround

Aspyr has told us more about the bug in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II that makes it impossible to play.

Based on the first reports, it seems that the bug “only affects a small number of players,” but it will still be fixed in an upcoming patch. Aspyr has suggested the following way to finish the game in the meantime, which involves using the cheats menu:

  • Triple-clicking the left thumbstick will bring up the cheats menu, where you can choose “warp.”
  • While on the screen where you choose your party before the cutscene, you can warp to a random place.
  • To get to OND504, repeat the steps above.
  • If you go to the merchant quarter, the game will stop working.

Even though there is still no date for the patch, it is good to know that those who are affected can use a workaround.
