Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Amiibo support

Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Amiibo support

The announcement of Kirby and the Forgotten Land includes a release date, new video, and information, but it’s also been confirmed that amiibo compatibility.

Kirby amiibo support

The feature’s exact functioning has yet to be exposed. However, there is a clear mention of amiibo use on the official Japanese My Nintendo Store listing

Kirby has some past experience with amiibo. Figures for the franchise’s main character, as well as Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Waddle Dee, were released in 2016. Kirby figurines were also available as part of the Smash Bros. range. It’s always conceivable that new amiibo may be released for Kirby and the Forgotten Land, but it’s more probable that the game will rely on previous releases.

There aren’t likely to be any big changes in terms of functionality. When a figurine was scanned in Kirby: Planet Robobot on 3DS, the character gained additional copy powers. The new Kirby figure, which offered a unique U.F.O. ability, was one among the highlights.

About Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Kirby’s first step into three-dimensional action!

In the latest Kirby game, you’ll explore an uncharted new planet where society and nature have fused into one. As you explore 3D levels, use Kirby’s typical behaviors – inhale, spit out, leap, and copy – to move about freely.

Attempt to resurrect the Waddle Dees

You’ll begin on your journey with a critical mission: to rescue the Waddle Dees, who have been kidnapped by unknown adversaries known as the Beast Pack. In order to achieve the objective and rescue the captive Waddle Dees, you’ll have to combat members of the Beast Pack and overcome difficulties in each level.

Demonstrate your Drill and Ranger Copy Abilities

There are new skills to try out in addition to your favorite Copy Abilities from the series, which are now available in gorgeous 3D. Drill allows you to bury yourself underground, whilst Ranger allows you to fire shooting-star bullets!

As Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee, collaborate in 2-player co-op.

You may share a Joy-Con with a friend to explore the new world together!

On March 25, Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be released on Nintendo Switch.
