2K and Firaxis are starting the week off with a look at Magik in a new character trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. She is a strong witch and the queen of a hellish place called Limbo.
About Magik
Magik was born on a remote Soviet farm in Siberia. Her early life was normal, and there were few signs that she would become an amazing mutant, a powerful sorceress, and the queen of a hell-dimension called Limbo. She looked up to her mutant older brother, Colossus, and wished she had powers like him so she could go to Xavier’s School for Gifted Children with him.
Magik was taken by Mephisto, an immortal demon lord, when he was six years old and put in Limbo to be his weapon. Magik’s strong will, on the other hand, could not be broken. Her mutant power came out, giving her the ability to teleport and making her worth even more than her captor had thought. She learned from Mephisto and, in the end, made a weapon out of her own unstoppable life force. She eventually got rid of the demon-lord by using the Soulsword, teleportation, and her smarts. She then went back to Earth. The Midnight Suns had to take her on because she was familiar with demonic forces, liked the supernatural, and had become a tough warrior.
The Nintendo Switch will get Marvel’s Midnight Suns in 2023.
