Tetris Effect: Connected – version 1.3.3 patch notes

Enhance Games has begun distributing a new Tetris Effect: Connected version 1.3.3 update. On Nintendo Switch, it will be listed as version 1.1.2.

The update features a new SR Disconnect Penalty, matchmaking changes, and other changes.

version 1.3.3 patch notes

[ALL] An SR Disconnect Penalty status has been added for players that have an extremely high disconnect rate in RANKED MATCHES. We will evaluate how successfully this deters bad actors and tweak as necessary.

[ALL] Adjusted matching so that players in the most competitive RANKED MATCH types – ZONE BATTLE, SCORE ATTACK, and CLASSIC SCORE ATTACK – do not leave the lobby once an opponent enters. Instead, players are “ready” automatically, and the countdown until the match starts. CONNECTED and CONNECTED VS modes, as well as other modes under FRIEND MATCH and LOCAL MATCH, continue to function as previously.

During a FRIEND MATCH, spectators may now leave.

[ALL] In CONNECTED and CONNECTED VS. modes, the level of replacement CPU players has been changed after a player disconnects. (Previously, players were replaced by CPUs of the same level (1-10) as their Tier) (1-10). Players in Tiers 1 through 5 will now be replaced by a level 5 CPU.

[ALL] When a player is substituted by an A.I. in CONNECTED and CONNECTED VS. modes, the display name is changed to “CPU.”

[ALL] WINS and WIN RATE for the Full Moon event have been added to MY RECORD > MULTIPLAYER STATS (RANKED MATCHES). (Every five seconds, the display rotates between Normal and Full Moon WINS and WIN RATE.)

[ALL] For each MULTIPLAYER mode, the game now preserves any player-adjusted camera placement.

[ALL] GAME OVER was shown when all blocks in PURIFY mode were changed to Dark Blocks.

Other minor tweaks and bug fixes.

About The Tetris® Effect: Connected

Local or online multiplayer, wherever and wherever you want to play—all it’s Connected!

The Tetris® Effect: Connected is Tetris like you’ve never seen, heard, or felt before—an immensely addictive, one-of-a-kind, and stunningly beautiful recreation of one of the most popular puzzle games of all time from the creators of the award-winning Rez Infinite and the famous puzzle game Lumines.

Music, sceneries, audio, special effects, and even the Tetriminos themselves pulse, dance, shimmer, and burst in perfect harmony with how you’re playing, making each of the game’s 30+ levels and 10+ modes something you’ll want to replay.

In addition, there are cross-platform multiplayer options for both competitive and cooperative play!

• Over 30 distinct levels, each having its own music, sound effects, graphical style, and backdrop that expand and change as you go through them.

The Zone is a brand-new mechanic created just for Tetris Effect: • Includes the all-new “Zone” mechanism, which allows players to pause time (and Tetriminos falling) by entering “the Zone” and either get out of a tricky scenario that would otherwise result in “Game Over,” or rack up additional Line Clears for added prizes.

You can play with gamers from all around the globe thanks to cross-platform multiplayer!

• With the new Room ID function, players from various platforms may effortlessly join Friend Match rooms.

A vast range of competitive and cooperative modes!

• Among the new modes are “CONNECTED,” in which three players can team up and literally connect their Tetris Matrices to battle A.I.-controlled Bosses; “Zone Battle,” a one-on-one match of standard competitive Tetris with a twist: the time-stopping Zone mechanic; and “Score Attack” and “Classic Score Attack,” two single-player versus modes in which two players compete separately to see who can get the best score.

In Spectator mode, you may join in the festivities!

• Friend Matches have a spectator mode. A room may hold up to 8 people in total. During the game, spectators may employ emotes to spice things up.
