The world has changed forever after a major disaster. The United States is no longer the superpower it once was, with its industries in ruins and its inhabitants struggling desperately for survival. Moreover, when the weakened nation is invaded by a new superpower – the Federation – and several states fall under enemy control, the remnants of the US special forces gather to form an elite paramilitary group called the “Ghosts”. Favorites such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Free-For-All will be reinforced in the form of several new match types that distinguish the cadets from the corporals. In Search and Rescue, you must find the tokens of fallen allies to bring them back into play or grab tokens from your enemies to keep them out of play. In Cranked you have to shoot on schedule: take out an enemy before the timer reaches zero or you’re done!
The improved Create-A-Soldier system further expands character customization for multiplayer mode and gives you thousands of options to fine-tune your weapon loadout and soldier appearance. By balancing a budget, you can create characters with more flexibility than ever before. Choose a pair of powerful Perks, a wider range of weaker variants, or trade in your secondary weapon for even more abilities!
Assemble an elite squad in Squads, a brand new mode with a focus on teamwork. Pit your platoon against a rival’s in real time, challenge the soldiers of non-online players to AI battles, or join forces with friends to stand up against waves of enemies. Progress made in Squads will transfer to your XP in multiplayer mode, allowing you to unlock new gear and rank up even faster.
