Fans always keep amazing us when it comes to lengths they go or creative things they do. In this case let us introduce you to Theanine.
In real life we are talking about Pedro Valencia, a 3D artist for games who does VR and education and hails from California, United States of America
Theanine created a remake of the water level Jolly Roger Bay from Super Mario 64, but in a painterly style. But that’s not all, the video itself is interactive!
360 degrees interactive VR video
You can actually rotate the camera around while you’re viewing the video. Use your mouse or touch screen to do so. If you have a VR headset, you can just turn your head around IRL.
You don’t need VR gear to enjoy his, but for the best experience, he does recommend a VR headset. You can get them for as cheap as $6 now (Google Cardboard) if you have a decent phone. https://vr.google.com/cardboard/get-cardboard/
Google Cardboard headsets will work with iPhones too, by the way!
Very cool to see right?
But Theanine did more so be sure to checkout the channel; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCw_T1LrbLxqqzW_-YlApG7w if you want to see more videos like the above.
Theanine noted
I thought your readers would enjoy this, especially since the Super Mario 3D All Stars collection is introducing Mario 64 to a whole new generation of Nintendo fans now.
And we could not agree less, always cool to see such creative projects for sure.
