Haak just made its debut on Nintendo Switch, and the first 25 minutes of gameplay has been provided by Handheld Players. The Metroidvania game with an end-of-the-world theme is shown in 25 minutes of footage.
About Haak
A post-apocalyptic desert
In terms of art style, HAAK uses old-school graphics and dark colors to show a desolate scene of ruins, which fits with its setting of an apocalyptic wasteland and aims to bring players into the future of the eschatological world to feel that sense of desolation.
· Responsive controls
We would never make a game that hurts your fingers. We only care about rhythms that involve quick movement and good timing.
The main weapon in HAAK is the Energy Hook, which can be used to attack and interact with the environment. This, along with the hacking skills of each character, gives the game a lot of different ways to play, making it a truly unique experience.
· Hyper-immersive Environments
HAAK’s unique visual style, ambient lighting, sound effects, and soundtrack all work together to create hyper-immersive environments, like somber rainscapes, futuristic cities, and creepy underground installations that will take you to another world.
Look into the unknown
HAAK has a lot of hidden side quests, hints, and plot twists. By exploring the game over and over, you could learn a lot about the story and characters in the background and figure out what the deeper content was all about. This would make each game fresh and not the same. Are you ready to do it all the way through?
Haak is available on the Nintendo Switch eShop as a digital download. You can choose to speak English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese.
