Pikmin 4 was brought back into the spotlight with a meaningful status report during the Nintendo Direct. This follows the first announcement that was made in September of last year.
You may remember that at the first unveiling, we weren’t given much of a look at the game to go along with it. This information has been updated as of today, and we now now have a definitive release date: the 21st of July, 2023. Previously, Nintendo estimated that it will release sometime in the year 2023.
A video demonstrated frozen Pikmin, opponent encounters, a new character named Oatchi who assists players, and other aspects of the game.
About Pikmin 4
Pikmin are little, plant-like organisms that may be grown by the player, plucked as needed, commanded, and used to defeat their foes. The Red Pikmin are unfazed by the flames, while the brand-new Ice Pikmin have the ability to freeze both their foes and their surroundings. These inquisitive assistants come in a variety of flavors. Explore this unknown world by using the power of your Pikmin in microscopic form, along with a little bit of strategy.

Oatchi, often known as “oat-chee,” is the local “good guy” and trustworthy companion that may assist you with tasks such as destroying barriers and transporting Pikmin while you are on your quest. There is no obstacle that cannot be overcome when you have the minuscule Pikmin and a skilled dog on your side.
