The Pokemon Company has issued an official statement summarizing the news from Pokemon Presents in August 2022.
The primary emphasis was on Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, but other mobile games and news were also discussed.
During a Pokémon Presents, The Pokémon Company International disclosed further information on the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, which will arrive exclusively on the Nintendo Switch system on November 18, 2022.
New upgrades for the Pokémon World Championships 2022 and in-game activities for Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE, and Pokémon Café ReMix were also revealed.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
Welcome to Paldea!
The voyage will begin in the Paldea area, a location of huge open spaces, lakes, high hills, desolation, and mountains. In areas ranging from an agricultural community with rich crops to a port city with a busy marketplace, players will encounter a large number of humans and Pokémon coexisting. Pokémon also inhabit trees, rivers, and other spots in the forest.
Mesagoza, the main city in the area, is located at the heart of Paldea. Here, players may locate either the Naranja Academy or the Uva Academy. In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, depending on whatever version of the game is played, the school’s name, logo, uniforms, and other elements will vary.
The Pokédex will be loaded as an application on the Rotom Phone. In the map application, players will be able to see a map of the whole Paldea area that displays their present position. Additionally, players will view a variety of information, such as local towns, Pokémon Centers, and wild Pokémon.
The Terastal Event
This phenomenon is exclusive to the area of Paldea and causes Pokémon to gleam and shimmer like diamonds.
When a Pokémon Terastallizes, a Tera Jewel emerges over its head, like a crown, and its body shimmers like a gemstone.
Terastallization enables players to improve their battle plans by boosting the potency of techniques of the same type as their Pokémon’s Tera Type. All Pokémon in Paldea may Terastallize to obtain exceptional power. There are 18 kinds, meaning there are an infinite number of Pokémon and Tera Type combinations.
Once every fight, players may Terastallize a Pokémon, and the change will continue until the conclusion of the match. Terastallizing a Pokémon will need a Tera Orb, which must be recharged after each usage. The Tera Orb may be charged by contacting crystals bursting with Terastal energy or by visiting a Pokémon Center.
Tera Raid Battles
In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, Tera Raid Battles occur when three other players band up to battle a Terastallized wild Pokémon. Trainers may discover other players for Tera Raid Battles via the Tera Raid Battle option, then recruit teammates or join someone else’s raid. To engage in a combat with friends the player already knows, he or she must establish a Link Code. This combat system includes a time restriction and lets players to continue attacking without needing to wait for other Trainers to take action.
The Poké Portal and Union Circle
The Poké Portal allows players to trade and compete with Trainers from across the globe in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
Trading:
A Link Trade in the Poké Portal allows gamers to trade with a particular individual. After selecting a Pokémon for a Surprise Trade, users will be able to trade with a random Trainer from anywhere in the globe.
In the Poké Portal’s Link Battle option, users will be able to engage in Pokémon fights with other Pokémon Trainers.
In addition, with the addition of the Union Circle function to the Poké Portal, a player and up to three companions may explore the same location together.

Clavell
He serves as the academy’s director and will instruct the player on various aspects of their school.
Jacq
Mr. Jacq is an expert in Pokémon biology and the creator of the Pokédex application for the Rotom Phone. He will also serve as the player’s homeroom instructor.

Arven is a senior at the institution. He is skilled in the kitchen in researching nutritious Pokémon-friendly meals.
Penny
Penny has a very timid disposition, and she doesn’t appear to frequent the school very frequently.
Grusha, Gym Leader of the Glaseado Gym
Grusha used to be a professional snowboarder, but is now the full-time Gym Leader of the Glaseado Gym. He is an Ice-type specialist whose spouse is Cetitan.
