Pokemon Scarlet/Violet – Version 1.1.0 improved performance

Game Freak seems to have improved performance with the release of version 1.1.0 for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.

Many people who have tried out the Switch games have been satisfied with the overall gaming experience. However, performance has been a source of concern. Aside from the actual graphics quality, there were frame rate dips and stutters throughout. However, as previously said, it seems that performance has begun to improve.

Comparing the versions

Our friends over at GameXplain uploaded a comparison video for two regions in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, which is included below. We can observe that the frame rate is significantly more steady than it was earlier. Hopefully, Game Freak isn’t done yet; more fixes would be much welcomed by the community.

Nintendo recognized performance difficulties in the patch notes for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet version 1.1.0 released yesterday. The firm said that its objective is to “provide gamers with a great gaming experience, and we regret for the inconvenience.” Nintendo also said that it takes “input from players seriously and is working on game enhancements.”

About Pokemon Scarlet/Violet

You’ve got to catch ’em all!

Koraidon and Miraidon are mysterious creatures with significantly more strength than normal Pokémon. Koraidon and Miraidon seem to have even more forms than those we’ve previously discovered—these Pokémon can change forms to better fit what they’re doing or the terrain they’re traveling through.

You may meet new people, new Pokémon, and a new you at Naranja and Uva Academies. Mesagoza, the region’s major city, is located in the heart of Paldea. It is here that you will discover a school with a history that few other institutions have, where people from all over the world come to compete against each other, whether via academics or Pokémon fights. The name of the school, its insignia, uniforms, and other characteristics alter depending on whatever game version you’re playing in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

You’ll go on your trip as one of the major characters. Depending on whether you play Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, your attire will change. Who knows what type of narrative is in store for you?
