Sonic Frontiers – Version 1.1.1 patch notes

Sonic Frontiers for Nintendo Switch has received a new update, bringing the game to version 1.1.1.

Version 1.1.1. Patch notes

This week’s update seems to be largely minor. Only two problems, according to SEGA, have been fixed on Nintendo Switch.

  • Resolved an issue where the Kronos Island Titan boss would vanish after retrying the battle.
  • Corrected an issue in which one of the Chaos Island symbols remained locked even after completion.

More updates to come

Sonic Frontiers should get more important improvements in the future. SEGA disclosed earlier this week that it is working on a massive amount of free content that would be distributed into 2023. Three content waves are planned, each with new playable characters and a new plot, as well as a Photo Mode, new challenges, and other features. To help with the wait, the free Christmas Cheer Suit DLC will be available later this month, bringing new attire for Sonic to wear as well as holiday cheer to the Starfall Islands.
