Nintendo just announced that Splatoon 3 will have a new season called Chill Season 2022. It will start on December 1, 2022.

There will be new weapons, stages, gear, victory emotes, and game modes. A trailer just went live, so fans can see it for the first time.
One of the biggest new features is Big Run, an event that changes the way the Salmon Run game mode’s co-op survival gameplay works. When the Salmonids take over the Wahoo World stage later this year, the first Big Run will happen. More information, including how to join, will come out in the future.
The new X Battles are another thing that should be mentioned. For these, players must be at an elite rank in Anarchy Battles and be willing to risk X Power to climb the leaderboards. On December 1, X Battles will be released, along with three new weapons (a new Roller, Charger, and Shooter) and ten weapons from previous Splatoon games, some of which have been changed.
In Splatoon 3, Chill Season 2022 also includes the “fresh” debut of the new Brinewater Springs and the return of Flounder Heights from the first game in the series. Also, as was already said, there will be a new set of gear, custom titles, victory emotes, stickers, and other things. There will be new gear and items in the shops.
