The Knight Witch – Update patch notes

The Knight Witch now has a fresh update available for download on Nintendo Switch, courtesy of Team17 and Super Mega Team.

Fixes are the name of the game for this one; a wide variety of problems have all been addressed. Crashing, falling frame rates, general glitches, and other issues are only some of the problems that have been addressed and fixed.

  • Repair for crash that occurred while switching languages.
  • Resolved a crash that occurred after switching languages that occurred while dealing with NPCs.
  • Reduced the frame rate decrease that occurs when the controller is unplugged during the loading screen.
  • Resolved a bug that caused the game to become unplayable if the controller was disconnected while in the Controls menu.
  • Issues that occurred while assigning spells or the Action/Talk button to L3 or R3 have been fixed.
  • The problem with the missing controller re-mapping capabilities has been fixed.
  • Bug in Giga Tree that allowed players to disregard collision and get trapped behind walls has been fixed.
  • Bug fixed that allowed players to exit the Hextinction fight area without permission.
  • Bug fixed in which Rayne would spawn after dying with an unfinished animation if she had been playing.
  • A dark screen that would sometimes appear during the ambush banner has been fixed.
  • Bug that would freeze the durability counter of the weapon has been fixed.
  • The problem that caused the ‘Laser Gun’ spell to fail to fire when aimed at an open door has been fixed.
  • Corrected spawning circles so that they are now centered on the place where they should be.
  • Problems that may occur while using a timed spell and then dealing with a beacon have been fixed.
  • Resolved a problem that prevented forge popcorns from exploding when the ‘Ray of Death’ spell was cast on them.
  • Resolved a bug that prevented the door asset in Giga Tree from having its collision correctly applied.
  • In Giga Tree, collision issues between turrets and the player have been fixed.
  • Bug that prevented the player from toggling settings when switching languages has been fixed.
  • When attempting to purchase products in the store without the required quantity of shards, the warning text no longer appears overlapping itself as it did before.
  • Bug fixed in which the player’s character name and avatar didn’t match up during conversation.
  • Many typos and translation errors that were present in the localization have been fixed.
