The Wild at Heart version 1.1.8 patch notes

The Wild at Heart for Nintendo Switch has received a new update, bringing the game’s version number up to 1.1.8.  The patch addresses a variety of issues, the most notable of which are bugs. Several enhancements have also been included.

Version 1.1.8 patch notes

  • A bug was fixed that allowed players to avoid the Spriteling learning moment in the Undergrowth by simply walking past the first two hazardous mushrooms there.
  • Wispwagon has been updated to fix a bug that caused Spritelings to get trapped if they panicked and rushed to the incorrect side of a certain corruption group.
  • Hit shakes on attackables now have a more polished appearance and feel after being updated.
  • There was a glitch in the Settings menu that caused certain players to inadvertently turn on a debug control scheme. This has been fixed.
  • The pregrown vines have had certain safety nets attached to them in order to guarantee that they will never not be grown.
  • Attempt at a cure for the very unusual and problematic issue of undegrowth vines not being able to be climbed (or any pregrown vines?). Was it possible that it just occurred at low framerates?
  • We fixed a problem that has been present for who knows how long in which our hitstop was using the incorrect time scale. O O Discovered when we were hard at work on our brand new game!
  • An problem that caused the credits to scroll extremely quickly at times has been fixed.
  • Identified and fixed a large number of NullReference faults, which may have resulted in occasional system failures or strange problems. Even while virtually all of them were very unusual, we have a sneaking suspicion that a tiny number of players were impacted by them.
  • We have added more information to crash reports in order to improve our ability to help in repairing them.
