Toby Fox, the developer and composer best known for Undertale and Deltarune, said a few months ago that he made music for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, including the “Field” theme that can be heard in some trailers.
Terastal Raid Battles
After the last Pokemon Presents, Toby Fox showed off another piece of music he wrote for the game. In particular, it is the music for Terastal Raid Battles, which were announced in the Direct as a new feature. Toby Fox was shown a picture of a Lucario in Terastal form as a guide for making the track, which means he was probably one of the first people who wasn’t a Game Freak employee to see the mechanic before it was made public.

You may have heard a little bit about this in the latest Pokémon Presents, but I wrote the music for Scarlet and Violet’s new Terastal Raid battles! I can’t wait for a Fidough covered in jewels to wipe out all of my Pokémon! When I was first given this job, the game director, Ohmori-san, showed me a Lucario with a huge crystal flower coming out of its head and told me that was the new game mechanic. I wrote the song using this information as a guide… Hope you enjoy!
