Ubisoft has given fans a closer look at the long-awaited successor to Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, titled Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and it seems to be something genuinely spectacular.
The grand-based system that restricted player mobility in combat has been removed, and players may now explore wider locations outside of fight, embark on side-quests, and solve puzzles. Bowser, Rabbid Rosalina, and a new female character named Edge who wields a sword have also been added to your squad.
Gareth Coker (Ori and the Blind Forest) and Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts) are among the composers for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, who will be joined by Grant Kirkhope. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope will be launched on the Nintendo Switch on October 20th.
