About Prison Architect

Calamities may occur at any time, decreasing prisoners’ contentment and raising dissatisfaction. Wardens may prepare their employees, appeal for funds, and reinforce their jail to mitigate the effects of a disaster. Calamity preparedness incentivizes players to provide a clean and safe environment for their captives, rewarding Wardens who keep their inmates happy. Wardens must think outside the box when it comes to fixing issues, averting disasters, and overcoming unanticipated obstacles.

Features

  • Riot Before the Storm – “Calamities” such as Deep Freezes, Heatwaves, Rat Infestations, and Lightning Storms may inflict structural damage, degrade prison ratings, and generate chaos in the complex.
  • Cellphone or High Water – Emergency services like pest control, plumbers, repairmen, and road maintenance are provided for fast relief from disasters. Staff can limit damage and keep things operating smoothly with electrician, cold control, fire safety, first aid, and pest removal training.
  • Granted Refuge – Grants for Disaster Relief, Heat Waves, Emergency Protocol, Subsidence, Advanced Staff Training, and Utility Retrofit Grants assist support much-needed disaster preparedness.
  • Raining Rats and Dogs – Stay informed about coming calamities by checking current and anticipated weather conditions and using weather prediction items.
