About TUNIC

In TUNIC, an isometric action game, a small fox goes on a big adventure through a land full of lost legends, old powers, and dangerous monsters. You will be stuck in a broken-down land with nothing but your own curiosity to help you. You will fight huge monsters, find strange and powerful items, and learn long-lost secrets.

BECOME A LEGEND

People say that somewhere in this land is a great treasure. Perhaps it lies beyond the golden door? Or somewhere deep underground? Some stories talk about a palace high above the clouds and powerful beings from the past. Where do you go?

BUILD A HOLY BOOK AGAIN

On your journeys, you’ll put together the game’s instructions. You’ll find maps, tips, special techniques, and the deepest secrets as you go through each page. If you find them all, something good might happen…

BE COURAGEOUS, LITTLE ONE!

Dive into combat that is varied and technical. Get out of the way, block, parry, and hit! Find out how to beat a wide range of monsters, both big and small, and find new tools to help you along the way.

  • Explore a dangerous world full of shady forests, sprawling ruins, and maze-like catacombs.
  • Fight powerful bosses underground, above the clouds, and in even stranger places.
  • Find the missing manual pages, which are full of tips and full-color original drawings.
  • Find hidden treasures that will help you get where you’re going.
  • Find hidden artifacts, techniques, puzzles, and… well, there are a lot of secrets!
  • Power Up Audio did the sound design.
  • And a song written by Lifeformed (Terence Lee and Janice Kwan)

Little fox, keep your head calm and be brave.

How good is Tunic?

Personally I have played Tunic fully (and completing it … is more daunting then you think) and without any shadow of a doubt I can say this is a must play for anyone who loves adventure an puzzles. One of the best games I have played this year for sure. Tunic does not hold your hand and let’s you discover everything (including it’s manual) on your own. And to touch just a little on the puzzles; you are not prepared for it .. trust me, this one spirals out of control.
