Een verrassende aankondiging voor de Nintendo Switch onlangs was Hyper Sports R van Konami.
Het Konami-team sprak eerder met Polygon op E3 en legde hen uit waarom ze besloten om het spel specifiek voor de Nintendo Switch te maken.

The reason it’s a Switch exclusive is because it’s such powerful technology,” Konami brand and media manager Benjamin Kinney said at E3 2018. “We were at [the Switch’s] launch with [Super Bomberman R], but even then the devs and the teams were looking at what the Switch could do, watching what Nintendo was doing with motion controls and the way Joy-Cons work — there’s potential. For sure, that’s one of the reasons we chose the Switch.
Laten we hopen dat Konami het in hun hart kan vinden om Nintendo Switch-eigenaars meer te geven dan ‘gewoon’ Hyper Sports R in de toekomst. Wie zou niet dol zijn op een Metal Gear-iteratie voor de Nintendo Switch?
