Spyro Reignited Trilogy nog steeds mogelijk

Het lijkt erop dat er nog steeds hoop is op de Spyro Ignited Trilogy-port op Nintendo Switch. Meer dit jaar zijn er geruchten geweest over de havengebeurtenis

De officiële website had zelfs de Nintendo Switch als een optie vermeld, maar dat werd later teruggedraaid.

In een recent interview met GameInformer had Toys for Bob-producer Peter Kavic laten doorschemeren dat een Nintendo Switch-poort mogelijk nog steeds mogelijk is, maar ze hebben ‘het nog niet eens geprobeerd’.

GI: What insight can you guys give for systems? It’s just PS4 and Xbox One right now, right? Is it a window? Is it going to be coming to other systems?

PK: All of our focus was on PS4 and Xbox One. The other stuff, we wanted to get this game out so this is the important thing. We got this into people’s hands. The rest of it, that’s Activision stuff that we aren’t as privy to.

GI: Okay, gotcha. But technically it could run on a Switch I’d imagine – that you had that in mind while designing it.

PK: I have yet to even see it tried, but maybe.Kavic’s last response sends a hopeful message for a potential Switch release in the future! Let’s sure hope Activision considers bringing the young purple dragon over.

Nou, ik zal vast niet de enige zijn die graag ziet dat de remaster naar de Nintendo Switch komt, toch? En als we games als Warframe, Wolfenstein, DOOM kunnen krijgen, wat houdt Spyro dan tegen?
