De Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences heeft de lijst met games bekendgemaakt die in aanmerking komen voor nominatie voor de DICE Awards 2023 van dit jaar.
De lijst bevat enkele bekende titels, zoals Elden Ring, Bayonetta 3 en God of War Ragnarok, evenals enkele fantastische indie-keuzes, zoals de charmante Tunic en het explosieve Neon White. De winnaars van de DICE Awards van dit jaar worden op 6 december 2023 bekendgemaakt. Dit jaar zijn er verschillende categorieën en je kunt de hele lijst met genomineerde games op deze pagina bekijken. Op donderdag 23 februari wordt de uitreiking van de DICE Awards live via internet uitgezonden vanuit Resorts World in Las Vegas.
In totaal komen 61 videogames die in 2022 zijn gepubliceerd in aanmerking voor nominatie. De competitie wordt geleid door God of War: Ragnarok, die in totaal 12 nominaties ontving, gevolgd door Horizon: Forbidden West, die er 8 ontving, en Elden Ring, die er 7 ontving.
De videogames Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, IMMORTALITY, Moss: Book II, TUNIC en Vampire Survivors hebben alle vier de meeste nominaties. De volgende videogames hebben de laatste overwegingsronde voor de titel “Spel van het jaar” in 2022 gehaald: Elden Ring, God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon: Forbidden West, Stray en Vampire Survivors.
