De genomineerden voor The Game Awards 2021 zijn bekendgemaakt. Dit jaar kwam Nintendo’s Metroid Dread op de lijst met genomineerden voor de categorieën ‘Game of the Year’ en ‘Best Action/Adventure’.
Ondertussen zijn er een aantal andere Nintendo-releases in 2021, zoals Mario Party Superstars, New Pokémon Snap, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury en WarioWare: Get It Together! zijn ook in de race voor de categorie ‘Beste familiespel’.
