Google bracht onlangs Project Stream uit in een zeer beperkte bèta om te zien hoe het de Assassin’s Creed Odyssey zou kunnen ondersteunen.
President van Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, zegt dat hij het heeft geprobeerd, maar zei dat er enige vertraging is die hij begrijpt dat gamers gefrustreerd zouden zijn. Nintendo bekijkt het echter aandachtig.
Nintendo let er goed op
We’re certainly observing everything that’s happening in the western markets form a streaming technology standpoint. I myself have tried the Google experience, and so it’s something that absolutely we’re all looking at.
In the end though, it has to be a great experience for the consumer, and the Google experience that I had, there’s a bit of lag, and when that happens, as a consumer, you get frustrated
Ik hoop nog steeds niet dat het in deze richting zal gaan in de toekomst. Misschien ben ik te gehecht aan mijn fysieke games, maar ach … het voelt gewoon zo voor mij.
