Seven Principles for Next Generation Leaders
The first Principle is that leaders drive a greater vision. pic.twitter.com/I1r8RMjWr7

The second Principle is that leaders develop individuals and teams. The skills for developing others are challenging and complex. But the effective leader realizes that if they can get 5 or 10 or 20 people to do their best work, this will far outproduce the individual leader. pic.twitter.com/E9FqvgsyH2

The third Principle is intellectual curiosity. Asking tough questions to get past barriers so you can fully understand a situation and then put the best plan forward. pic.twitter.com/wuqcwDjgxW

Fourth Principle … stellar communication. I learned written communication at P&G. Verbal communication was honed at Pizza Hut. Nintendo taught me the value of non-verbal communication and the power of silence. All three communication elements are critical. pic.twitter.com/wBaTKVu1FB

The fifth Principle is valuing differences. This goes beyond diversity. Beyond inclusion. It is truly believing that everything that makes us different leads to better ideas and better results. It is a fact. pic.twitter.com/37ZdSbeIV8

Principle #6: Leaders must have courage in decision-making. The decision to include Wii Sports in the overall Wii proposition in the Americas and Europe was courageous … and a key to the overall success for this platform. pic.twitter.com/pn32mCEvvh

Last of the Seven Principles. Leaders must have irrefutable integrity. Leaders say what they mean and do what they say. Leaders do the right thing … not just the easy thing. 'Nuff said. pic.twitter.com/2ESAn7fRSx
