Nintendo is schijnbaar van plan nieuwe SNES-titels en nieuwe console-emulators toe te voegen voor de Nintendo Switch Online-service.
Volgens Kapu, een dataminer, heeft de nieuwste Nintendo Switch-update blijkbaar SNES-games toegevoegd om in de komende tijd voor de dienst te worden opgenomen.

Kapu is niet de enige die erin duikt en dingen ontdekt. OatmealDome vertelde dat hij meer Nintendo-console-emulators had gevonden aan boord van de NES Switch-app. Vier emulatortypes zijn gedatamined:
- Kachikachi (NES Classic)
- Canoe (SNES Classic)
- Hiyoko (???)
- Count (???)
I was looking through the NES Switch app with @KapuccinoHeck and @Simon1844. I found four emulator types:

Dit zou kunnen betekenen dat Nintendo van plan zou zijn om deze binnenkort uit te rollen om de Nintendo Switch Online-service een beetje aantrekkelijker te maken dan het op dit moment is.
Op welke systemen hoop je?
Als de emulators beperkt zijn tot Nintendo Systems, wat ze logischerwijs zouden kunnen zijn, zouden we een Game Boy X-emulator verwachten (die in principe alle Gameboy-opties ondersteunt) en durven we het te noemen; een Nintendo 64-emulator. Maar dat is gewoon pure speculatie op dit punt. Voor zover we weten, zou het een Nintendo DS-emulator kunnen zijn. Wat denk jij?
