Koei Tecmo Europe werd naar verluidt getroffen door een cyberaanval, wat leidde tot een datalek van de accountnamen, versleutelde wachtwoorden en e-mailadressen van hun forumgebruikers.
Hoewel dit niet zo belangrijk was als de aanval op Capcom in het verleden, sloot Koei Tecmo snel de VS af ( https://www.koeitecmoamerica.com/ ) en Europese websites ( https://www.koeitecmoeurope.com/) als voorzorgsmaatregel.
Beide websites brengen momenteel het volgende bericht naar voren:
